Abusive boss

Hello ladies, 

I am a 24 year old simple girl in Ventura, California. Three years ago I stated working in a local funeral home.
I really loved my job. It gave me the opputunity to meet alot of people and to help them as well. My boss is about 37 years old. At the beginning of my employment he was very nice. Later i met his bad side. It is scary. His behaviour, the way he treats us in the office. (four people in the office)He will scream, yell at us, he told us we were not capable of doing anything right, he would go through a rampage of trowing stuff in the floor slamming doors, and file cabinets, braking his own copy machine and calling us idiots. finally he would play mind games with us, he had a way of twisting things around. I think he wanted to be a psychiatrist. At the end of June. He and his wife asked me if i wanted the funeral couselor position since my co-worker was going on maternity leave I said yes. I also wanted to be conpesated more since I was going to work nights, longer hours, and weekends. He said he will get back to me by the end of next month wich was July. He never did. Finally on August 31, 2001 he called me and said he was moving me from my position(death certificate filing) to my co-workers position full time funeral counselor I did ask him about my conpensation he said theirs was none I told him i was not interedted in that position. He fired me. He also said i wasnt a team player. I really think i am, in that kind of bussines you have to be a team player.
I think he is unfair.
