Bellsouth/dischrg/carpal tunnel syndrome/discrm

I would like to know if there are any other lawsuits out there against Bellsouth for wrongful termination/discrimination. I worked for Bellsouth for over 2 years as a customer service representative. I was very good at what I did, but I guess not good enough. I was diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome in 1999, was advised by doctor need to have surgery as soon as possible. Well, as soon as possible ended up being September 2000 and upon return to work was terminated. I felt that they were unjust in terminating me so I immediately contacted an attorney to find out what my rights were, they basically told me there's not a whole lot I can do about. But, I was determined that they were not going to get away with this. I finally contacted Human Rights and filed a wrongful termination and discrimination claim against Bellsouth, there is a time limited so, if you haven't done so or if this is available I'd recommend you doing it immediately. They are responsible to retrain you if your unable to work in the same field, my injury is so severe now, that I also have lateral epicondyle (tennis elbow) and per my doctor I need to find a different line of work after working on computers for over 25 years, that's easy for him to say. But, by the grace of GOD I am receiving benefits because, they were at fault. I hope this information is able to help you. Sincerely, Ms Romeo62
